Coffee House Sketchcrawl

You know how people have "Progressive Dinners",  you go from house to house and have different courses of your meal?  Well we did something similar today by doing a little coffee house hopping.
Our urban sketchers group met at Bauhaus Coffee and then ended up at Victrola Coffee.  Some  visited other establishments in the area of Pike and Pine near Melrose on Capitol Hill in Seattle.  A nice way to do a little sketching in a warm, dry, cozy environment!  Check out Seattle Urbansketchers to see more sketches from the morning.

Say goodbye to 2010!

Last sketches of 2010.  We went to Crystal Mountain for a ski day.  At least my husband and kids did their skiing.  I stayed in the lodge, had lunch...met some interesting people and sketched. Here are my last sketches of the year.

Essential Baking Company Bakery

I went to Essential Baking Company Bakery this morning for coffee and a muffin.  It is located near Gas Works Park in Wallingford in an old historic Bakery.  It has great ambiance and a wonderful place to enjoy your morning jo.
