Sketches From Fall of 2014

Fall was very busy for me.  So I didn't have time to sketch as much as I would like to.  You get kind of rusty.  Here are some sketches I did between Thanksgiving and the New Year.
Christmas Decorations at our house 2014.

Northwest Boy Choir Concert at St. Mark's Cathedral.

The 9th Annual Soulumination Artist Holiday Sale.  I was a participant in this and took a little time to sketch the event.

Thanksgiving pies for 2014.  11 in all for a table of 17 people.  This is a tradition that happens each thanksgiving.  The kids are really getting into it.

Passing on Traditions

Twenty six years of thanksgivings with dear friends and  our thanksgiving holiday has grown from a gathering of graduate students away from home to include extended families, our kids and their significant others.  One of the many traditions that has developed over the years is a table full of home made pies.  The kids are now becoming contributors to this practicing their favorite pie recipes during the year so they can share it at our feast.  We almost end up with a pie per person,  not quite... but close.  Pie for breakfast the next day is always something to look forward to.  This is definitely one tradition that will be passed on to the next generation!
