Gifs vs Jpgs

I just learned something today.  The .gif format sometimes changes the color of an image.  I just posted a .gif of a sketch I did  this morning and saw that the reds were dulled down.  I looked at the jpg of the same sketch and it retained the reds.  Something to consider when posting sketches.
Here are the two versions.
JPG Colors are more true.
GIF format dulled down the red and yellow colors.

    1. Thanks Peggy,
I just discovered it when I posted with the gif and was wondering where that reddish brown went. Then I looked at my jpgs and saw that they retained the red! Learn something new everyday.

    1. Hi Pat,
I usually mix with the following colors. Aureolin Yellow, Sap Green, Rich Green Gold, and Undersea Green. If I need a more green green in it I might add some Pthalo turquoise to the mix. It is potent so not much of it or I might try to mix in a little viridian green to the color. It adds a coolness.
